Reception Venue Caves House
When I first met with Kim and Brad I was excited to be creating the engagement invitations and they were telling me of their plans to have their wedding an Jenolan Caves, what a different unique location I thought.
After completing their engagement invitations, Kim called me up again to design their wedding invitations and flowers.
Their theme was to be a deep red, the reception to be held in Caves House and with plenty of accommodation onsite for their guests.
Kim's flowers had to be silk as fresh flowers are not allowed into the caves.
I wont forgot the look on Kim's face when I delivered her flowers to her room on the morning of the wedding, so could not believe they were silk and had to touch them just to check!
The bouquets were created out of deep red silk roses and Cymbidium orchids and a clustered effect.
Kim's wedding gown was stunning in a very unusual oyster colour, it all match in perfectly with her theme for her wedding.
We also created menu's, noodle box, bomboniere tags, Kim had personalised black and silver ribbon made for the napkins and bouquet handle, and a wishing well.
The centrepieces were fish bowls with a bunch of fresh red roses and fresh red cymbidium orchids.
Kim also had her own burgundy satin table cloths custom made.
The staff as Caves house were absolutely amazing, a service standard not often seen today.
